Kurunba - Extra Virgin Olive Oil
'Kurunba' (Spirit of the Land)' is one of Olio Bello's first and most awarded and popular olive oils in the traditional 'estate pressed' range and is a medium to fruity 'all-rounder' olive oil.
The blend consistently delivers a unique and subtle flavour - which reflects a carefully crafted blend of certified organic olives, from across the property.
The variety of olives and carefully selected cultivars, which vary annually, to reflect the season and the oil maker's unique blending technique and style.
The 2025 Kurunba Olive Oil features a subtle blend of the French Bouteillan, with a hint of Corregiola - to create a subtle and flavoursome olive oil, perfect for all occasions.
Historically, ‘Kurunba’ received a Gold Medal in 2019 at the premium West Australian Awards for its excellence and refreshing fruity green banana and guava aroma. A combination of Corregiolo and Boutellian (with a hint of Marioli). It then received a Silver Medal in 2020 and in 2021, Kurunba (Bouteillan), was awarded another Silver Medal. In 2022, Kurunba won a Bronze Medal and featured the French varietal Bouteillan (with Frantoio and Corregiola).
In 2023- Kurunba was awarded another Bronze Medal for an oil sourced from a single grove and showcased the Coreggiola cultivar. In 2024, Kurunba received a Silver Medal as a single-variety estate pressed Corregiola.
This makes it a light to medium blend and a consistent Olio Bello favourite.
